I am very excited about my transition as principal at Crestwood! Crestwood has been my home for the past 8 years as the assistant principal and I am proud of the culture and community we have at our school. 

My educational journey includes obtaining my bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Elmira College, master’s degree in literacy from the University of Buffalo, and a post-master’s certificate in administration and supervision from UVA. Before joining the Monarch family, I was a Title I Reading Teacher in Richmond City and a Kindergarten teacher in NY. 

I am also a wife, mother to three boys, and dog mama. Most weekends you can find me cheering my boys on at any given field, court, or pool. I love visiting the beach, reading and cheering for the Buffalo Bills!

I love the students, staff, and community and feel honored to continue to work together to create a safe and engaging learning environment for all of our students to thrive in!

I am thrilled to serve as the Assistant Principal at Crestwood, where I cherish being part of our vibrant school culture and community. My educational journey began with a bachelor's degree in elementary education from Virginia State University, followed by a Master's in administration and supervision from the University of Virginia. Prior to joining the Monarch family, I gained valuable experience as a Dean and teacher in the county for several years.

Outside of my professional life, I am a proud parent to two wonderful teenage boys who keep me actively engaged. I have a passion for Mickey Mouse and enjoy traveling, as well as spending quality time with friends and family in New York. These personal interests help me maintain a balanced life amidst my responsibilities at school.

My mission as an educator is to inspire a love for learning in students while ensuring that they feel safe, supported, and valued in our school environment. I am dedicated to creating an atmosphere where every child can thrive and reach their full potential.
